The death toll from floods in Spain has surged to 158 on Thursday, local authorities said. At least 155 people died in the province of Valencia, which was the hardest hit.
According to Spanish newspaper El Pais, over 150 roads are impacted by the floods. The death toll is expected to increase, with many people trapped in their houses and vehicles.
