Firas Katoussi won a short time ago in the final (see video) against Iranian Mehran Barkhordari to win the -80 kg gold medal scoring therefore the first Tunisian gold medal.
An outstanding performance for Katoussi in this competition, marked by successive wins, notably against the Australian Leon Siranovic (2-0), the Dane Eddy Hrnic (2-0) and the American Karl Nicolas (2-0).
