Speaking on Thursday, January 2, 2025, to Mosaïque FM, Yahya Chemlali, Director General of Studies and Tax Legislation at the Ministry of Finance, revealed that the tax amnesty introduced in 2024 had generated 1,975 million dinars by the end of October 2024. This amount was collected via 137,932 payment plans established with financial receivers.
For 2025, Article 74 of the Finance Law includes a new tax and customs amnesty, proposed by members of parliament. This measure involves waiving penalties for audits, late payments, and legal fees related to tax debts recorded by financial receivers on behalf of the state before January 1, 2025.
