An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 struck Romania on Tuesday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (ESMC) said.
The quake’s epicenter was registered i56 kilometers northeast of the city of Drobeta-Turnu Severin at a depth of 40 kilometers. Witnesses in Romania, as well as nearby countries, including Serbia and Bulgaria, reported feeling shaking.
