A strong 5.7-magnitude earthquake hit the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border on Saturday, with powerful tremors being felt in Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi-NCR and the surrounding areas, the National Center for Seismology said.
The earthquake was located at the depth of 181 kilometres beneath the earth’s surface. However, there were no reports of loss of life or damage to the property.
