An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 struck China, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) stated on Wednesday.
The quake was registered at 17:00 local time in Lushan county, district of Ya’an city in the north of Jiangxi Province, at a depth of 17 km.
No information on casualties or material damage has yet been received.
