A local earthquake averaging 6.1 on the Richter Scale promptly hit Japan‘s Aomori in the coast of Aomori Prefecture in Japan‘s main island Honshu.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), the quake epicentre was properly determined at 41.0 latitude degrees north and 143.1 longitude degrees east and transpired at a profound depth of 10 km.
