An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 struck near the Indonesian Tanimbar Islands, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The quake was registered 286 kilometers southwest of the town of Tual, Indonesia, at a depth of 95 kilometers.
Meanwhile, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) measured the tremor at a magnitude of 5.7.
