6.3-magnitude quake hits northeast of Taiwan

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 struck the northeast of Taiwan, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) stated.

The quake’s epicentre was registered 180 kilometres away from the city of Hirara, located in Okinawa. The earthquake hit at a depth of 183.5 kilometres.
