Qatar and France mediated a deal between Hamas and Israel to ease the delivery of much-needed humanitarian aid supplies to civilians in the Gaza Strip. In return, medical supplies will be provided to Israeli hostages in the blockaded enclave. The announcement was made by Qatar’s foreign minister spokesman on Tuesday.
Medications and aid are planned to depart from Doha on Wednesday to the Egyptian city of Arish, where they will be transported into the Gaza Strip, according to the foreign ministry spokesman Majed Al Ansari.
