200K displaced people after evacuation order in Khan Younis

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) revealed on Monday that the number of displaced people in the Gaza Strip reached 200,000 in just one week, following the evacuation order by the Israeli army last week in Khan Younis.

As part of the humanitarian situation update, the UN body said that Gaza citizens are “exhausted” in “dreadful conditions,” being forced to “flee their makeshift shelters, with nowhere safe to go,” almost daily and “often with very little time to do so.” Moreover, the UNOCHA warned that people are close to a total “lack of fresh fruits and vegetables” and that almost 85% of schools in Gaza “have been directly hit or damaged.”
