Jordan’s Interior Minister Mazen al-Faraya announced on Friday that Jordan has closed its only border crossing with Syria after the Syrian rebel offensive rekindled hostilities in the country. He said the decision was made “as a result of the surrounding security conditions in Syria’s south.”
The minister added that Jordanian citizens will be allowed back into Jodan but traffic into Syria will be banned, according to Roya News.
