Mohamed Salah, star of the Egyptian national team and English club Liverpool, is attracting interest from new clubs in the Saudi Pro League, ahead of a potential move in the coming months.
According to TalkSport, Saudi club Neom, which includes defender Ahmed Hegazi among its ranks, is keen to secure the services of Mohamed Salah in the next transfer window. Recently established on the Saudi football scene, the club has thus joined the growing list of teams eager to sign the Egyptian winger.
The same source notes that Liverpool FC have no intention of selling Salah during the winter transfer window.
The English club has reportedly informed three Saudi sides — Al Hilal, Neom SC and Al Qadsiah — that a transfer is not possible at this stage.
However, Saudi Pro League sporting director Michael Emenalo maintains a long-standing relationship with the Egyptian international and could play a key role in any official move to sign Liverpool’s winger, particularly after having recently been in contact with his representatives and several interested clubs.
Liverpool also insist that Mohamed Salah is keen to see out his contract until the summer of 2027. The club does not, however, rule out a possible departure in 2026, especially if a new right-sided attacker is recruited to replace him.
