According to the National Institute of Meteorology (INM), a seismic tremor with a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale was registered on Monday evening at 10:51 PM (local time) in the northwest of the city of Zaghouan.
Preliminary analyses conducted by the INM’s seismological stations place the tremor’s epicentre at 36.47 degrees latitude and 9.96 degrees longitude, northwest of Zaghouan, in the Jendouba governorate.
