A resident of Les Jardins de Carthage became a victim of robbery after receiving an unknown person claiming to be an expert in interior decoration and design.
The suspect gained the victim’s trust by presenting himself as a professional. During his visit, he allegedly offered the victim a slice of dried fruit. Immediately after consuming it, the victim lost consciousness. The perpetrator then took advantage of the situation to loot the home before fleeing.
A Quick and Targeted Investigation
After the incident was reported, the judicial police and the intelligence brigade of Les Jardins de Carthage took charge of the case. Through a series of field investigations and technical analyses, the suspect’s identity and location were quickly identified.
In coordination with the public prosecutor, the security forces conducted an operation to arrest the suspect. During the arrest, several mobile phones and foreign currencies were seized from him.
