Abdelhamid Mnaja, a general engineer, has been officially designated as the Chairman and CEO of the National Water Distribution Utility (SONEDE). His appointment was formalised through Decree No. 2024-635, issued on December 11, 2024, and issued today in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Tunisia (JORT).
This leadership change underscores the government’s focus on enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of water distribution services across the country. Mnaja’s expertise and leadership are expected to contribute significantly to addressing the challenges faced by SONEDE in managing Tunisia’s water resources.
