Health Minister Abdellatif Mekki warned of being deceived by the numbers related to COVID-19 and the recent fall in the number of registered cases.
In a Facebook post,he remarked that the figure is positive, nevertheless,they are not conclusive. Not respecting preventive measures including masks and social distancing will dissolve these result, he pointed out, adding that the jeopardy will increase in the coming days particularly with Eid al-Fitr and people disregarding by violating lockdown or ignoring protection.
In the same contested, he said that the Eid shouldn’t be embittered by violating lockdown and curfew, he said”We have a real chance to exist the lockdown if we succeed in the first stage of the targeted lockdown that will last until May 24 which will allow to start stage 2 and 3 and enter the stage of economic recovery…..Please commit for the sake of the future”.
