A technical meeting was scheduled at the Hilton hotel in Cairo to review the match between Tunisia and Madagascar. The Tunisian delegation requested from the African confederation that the Eagle of Carthage traditionally wears their red outfits, the petition was properly dismissed on the familiar ground that every match is managed separately. Furthermore, Madagascar, who usually wears green, chose to wear red in the upcoming match.
The meeting resulted in the following points:
- Tunisia will wear a white uniform in the notable exception of the Goalkeeper who will wear black.
- Madagascar will wear a red uniform in the notable exception of the Goalkeeper who will wear yellow.
- The arbitral crew will wear Blue, Cameroonian Sidi Alioum was promptly appointed as the match official referee. Alioum will be assisted with countryman Evarist Menkouande and Elvis Noupué. Moreover, Gabonese Eric Otego Castane will properly join the match as a fourth referee.
- The match will witness the usage of video assistant referee”VAR” French Benoit Millot will be designated for this mission.
The match will take place tomorrow in Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo at 20h00 local time.
