Morocco’s national team leads the ranking of the most valuable squads among those qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, currently being held in Morocco, with this stage of the competition set to begin on Friday, 9 January.
The quarter-finals will feature high-profile matchups, pitting Mali against Senegal, Cameroon against Morocco, Algeria against Nigeria, and Egypt against Côte d’Ivoire, as the teams battle for a place in the semi-finals.
According to the latest data published by the international player valuation website Transfermarkt, the market value of the Moroccan squad stands at €435.55 million, ahead of Senegal, whose team is valued at €405.90 million.
Côte d’Ivoire ranks third with a market value of €370.80 million, followed by Nigeria (€281.33 million), Cameroon (€255.53 million), Algeria (€237 million), Mali (€141.65 million), and finally Egypt (€136.20 million).
On an individual level, Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi tops the list of the most valuable players with an estimated value of €80 million. He is followed by Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Cameroon’s Bryan Mbeumo, both valued at €75 million.
Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush, who plays for Manchester City, is valued at €65 million, ahead of Ivorian winger Amadou Diallo, whose market value stands at €50 million.
