Ahmed Jafali : Zamalek Fails to Honor Final Payment

Officials from Union Sportive Monastirienne have contacted their counterparts at Zamalek to demand the payment of the final installment of the transfer deal involving Ahmed Jafali, the winger who joined the Cairo-based club during the last winter transfer window.

Zamalek has failed to settle this final payment, amounting to $300,000, despite a prior agreement between the two clubs stipulating a total transfer fee of $500,000. Under the terms of the deal, $200,000 was to be paid upfront, with the remaining balance due in May.

Zamalek’s delay in fulfilling this financial obligation has triggered a penalty clause, adding a 5% surcharge to the contract value—an additional $25,000. As a result, the Egyptian club now owes a total of $325,000 to the Sahel capital side.
