Speaking with Tunisie Numérque, President of the Tunisian Association of Parents and Students Reda Zahrouni, voiced his fear of the level of tension between the Ministry of Education on the one hand and the education unions on the other hand, particularly in light of its coincidence with the reopening of school.
Zahrouni stated that what is transpiring is likely to disturb the educational atmosphere, as the educational institution must Ensure Stability and reassuring messages must be sent instead of escalation messages.
Our speaker called on both the supervisory authority and the education unions to modify their speech, and not to be led by statements that may negatively impact the student and the guardian, especially since Tunisia is at a politically sensitive time.
In the same context, he pointed out the need to take into account the financial situation, especially for professors and substitute teachers, so that they are in a state of psychological comfort and consequently provide information in a good way to the student, underscoring the necessity of addressing the issue with full responsibility by returning to the dialogue table and avoiding conflicts with each return to school, according to his expression.
