The President of the Algerian Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Sunday relieved Salah Eddine Taleb of his duties as Governor of the Bank of Algeria.
According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, the head of state has appointed the Bank’s Vice-Governor, Moatassem Boudiaf, to assume the role of Governor of the Bank of Algeria on an interim basis.
