Algeria’s president Abdelmadjid Tebboune delegated Abdelaziz Djerad as the nation’s new prime minister
Djerad is a former diplomat who teaches political science at the University of Algiers.
Djerad vowed to work with all Algerians to overcome the economic and social hurdles facing the north African country.
“We face a major challenge to win back the trust” of the people, he added.
