Eight workers passed away, asphyxiated, in a wastewater station, in Béjaïa in Algeria.
They were in charge of cleaning operations in the station, located near the jail of Oued Ghir, reports the local radio, “Soummam”.
An inquiry was opened in order to unveil the causes of the accident, according to the same source.
