A delegation from the Friendship and Brotherhood Parliamentary Group of the Algerian People’s National Assembly, led by its president Mohamed Hadi Tebssi, arrived in Tunisia on Sunday morning for an official visit that will continue until 26 November.
According to a statement issued by the Tunisian Parliament, the delegation was welcomed at Tunis-Carthage International Airport by the Vice-President in charge of Foreign Relations, Tunisians Abroad and Migration, MP Dhouha Selmi, along with two members of the Tunisian-Algerian Parliamentary Friendship Group, which falls under the Parliamentary Cooperation Group with Arab Countries: Adel Bousselmi and Chokri Ben Bahri.
The Parliament recalled, in the same statement, that a delegation from the Tunisian-Algerian Parliamentary Friendship Group — part of the Parliamentary Cooperation Group with Arab Countries at the Assembly of the Representatives of the People — had visited Algeria from 1 to 4 October 2025. That visit marked the beginning of a close parliamentary relationship and opened promising prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
