As part of a campaign to fight crime, the National Security Directorate reported today that its units in Siliana and Kairouan managed to apprehend, in Siliana, an offender who is the subject of 89 wanted notices implicated in drug trafficking, the illicit sale of alcoholic beverages and attempted murder. During his arrest, this offender, armed with a hunting rifle, fired shots in an attempt to flee.
