At least 15 people were injured after a car drove into a crowd of people in Munich, Bild reported on Thursday, citing sources from the city’s police.
The Munich police department said on X that “a major police operation” is currently ongoing in the area between the streets of Dachauer Strasse and Seidlstrasse. “We are on-site with strong forces for you,” it stressed.
The details of the attack are still unknown. However, Bild reported that the group of people in question were members of the trade union Verdi protesting. Meanwhile, BR24 alleged that the police shot one of the occupants of the vehicle.
