At least 17 people died and 22 were injured in a traffic accident in eastern China, according to local authorities. The incident happened in Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province and an investigation into the circumstances is underway.
Nanchang County traffic police warned drivers in the area of foggy weather conditions with poor visibility. It is currently unclear if the weather caused or contributed to the accident.
