Syrian Civil Defense announced on Friday that at least three women were killed and five children were injured in a stampede at Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, Syria.
The incident was caused by an announcement from an influencer about distributing free meals at the mosque.
The overcrowding caused suffocation, forcing security forces to fire into the air to disperse the attendees.
