Police departments in the Phoenix area confirmed that 9 victims are being treated at three different hospitals, following a shooting that took place in the city’s West Valley area, according to CNN.
The likely perpetrator has been apprehended by police authorities, although it remains unclear whether the suspect was responsible for several shootings in the area, the Associated Press found.
It is believed that at least one person sustained fatal injuries in the attack and that three others are in critical condition, the media outlet added.
