Tunisian athlete and champion Ahmed Jaziri won the silver medal in the men’s 3000m steeplechase at the Zagreb meeting, with a time of 8’8″11, while his compatriot Mohamed Ibrahim Jeridi had to settle for 10th place with a time of 8’27″50.
In the women’s competitions, it was an off day for Marwa Bouzayani. The Tunisian 1500m steeplechase champion had to settle for 7th place this Sunday in Zagreb. With a new national record, she ended in 4’05″72 (-7″39 far from the winner).
