ATP Challenger Abidjan: Dougaz Advances to Semifinals in Style

In the quarterfinals of the Abidjan 2 Challenger tournament held this Friday, Tunisian tennis player Aziz Dougaz (top seed and ranked 196th in the ATP rankings) secured an impressive spot in the semifinals with a commanding victory over South Africa’s Philip Henning (ranked 360th), winning in straight sets 6-0, 6-2 after just 1 hour and 6 minutes of play (see video).

In the semifinals, the Tunisian will face Belgian player and third seed Michael Geerts (ATP No. 288), who advanced following the withdrawal of Indian player Aryan Shah (ranked 471st). The match is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, at 5:00 PM Tunisian time.
