Automotive Components: Korean Delegation of 13 Companies to Visit Tunisia in October

A delegation representing 13 Korean companies operating in the automotive components sector is expected to visit Tunisia in mid-October 2026, the Tunisian Embassy in Seoul said on Tuesday.

The announcement followed a meeting between the embassy and Hyundai Mobis, chaired on the Korean side by KIM Young-bin, vice president of the company, and attended by senior officials responsible for foreign investment and strategic planning.

Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Tunisia and Hyundai Mobis, investment opportunities and the development of industrial partnerships in Tunisia.

The two sides agreed to continue consultations on potential sourcing opportunities from Tunisian manufacturers and to explore direct investment projects based on mutual interest and industrial complementarity, the embassy said.

The visit is part of the embassy’s “Tunisian Automotive Partnership Roadshow”, an initiative aimed at connecting Tunisian stakeholders with major Korean companies in the automotive components industry.

The delegation will visit Tunisia in coordination with the Tunisian Association of the Automotive Industry, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency and the Tunisian-Korean Chamber of Commerce.

Hyundai Mobis is a major Korean supplier of automotive components and mobility technologies, with activities spanning electric vehicle components, electronic systems, safety technologies and advanced driving solutions. It operates a global network of manufacturing and research and development facilities.
