As part of the ongoing monitoring of the written exam correction process for the 2025 baccalaureate, the Minister of Education, Nourddine El Nouri, paid a field visit this Sunday, June 8, to Sousse, accompanied by the region’s governor, Sofiane Tanfouri.
The visit covered two correction centers: the Bab El Bhar Model Preparatory School and the Mohamed El Aroui Preparatory School. These centers are currently hosting dozens of teachers mobilized for the critical phase of grading candidates’ exam papers.
A Warm Tribute to the Mobilized Educational Teams
The minister praised the efforts of educational staff, correctors, and all stakeholders involved in organizing this year’s exam session. According to a statement from the Ministry, he expressed his appreciation for their commitment to ensuring the success of national exams at every stage, despite logistical and human challenges.
This year, the correction phase coincides with preparations for the Eid al-Adha holiday, adding additional pressure on the mobilized teams. The minister highlighted their dedication in such a demanding context.

During his visit, the Minister of Education also reviewed the work of the investigation committee tasked with examining suspected cases of cheating and misconduct reported during the exams.
He commended the thoroughness of the teams responsible for handling contentious cases, emphasizing the importance of strict enforcement of regulations to ensure fairness for all candidates and to uphold the credibility of the examination.
A Nationwide Supervision Campaign
This visit to Sousse is part of a broader tour the minister is conducting across the country to ensure the smooth progress of the 2025 baccalaureate correction operations. The Ministry of Education thus reaffirms its commitment to transparency, rigor, and quality in the candidate evaluation process.
The results of the baccalaureate exams are expected in the coming weeks, following the completion of the correction, deliberation, and final validation phases.
