The New Kerkennah Transport Company announced the cancellation of the maritime trip scheduled for Thursday, 22 January 2026, at 4:15 p.m., departing from the Sidi Youssef maritime station in Kerkennah towards Sfax.
This decision follows the earlier cancellation of the 2:30 p.m. crossing from the Sfax maritime station to Kerkennah on the same day, due to adverse weather conditions and rough sea state.
The company explained that these measures were taken to ensure the safety of passengers and crews, given that navigation conditions were deemed unsafe. Travelers were urged to stay informed about weather updates and official announcements regarding the resumption of services.
