Abdelghani Chaâbani, the regional health director in Kasserine, stated to Tunisie Numérique that the gynaecology-obstetrics unit and the university departments of ophthalmology and dentistry at Badreddine Aloui Hospital will undergo notable renovations.
“The first stage of maintenance work, which includes the addition of bathrooms to the rooms in the gynaecology-obstetrics department, has been approved, and the second phase will start shortly,” he announced. He remarked that the newly constructed operating room in the university ophthalmology department, funded by the Ministry of Health at approximately 1.3 million dinars, will be operational soon after the installation of an electric generator.
Chaâbani also mentioned that five specialist physicians in anesthesiology and resuscitation will soon join the hospital.
