The 2025 edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) is rapidly approaching its conclusion. In the second quarterfinal matchup, Egypt’s Al Ittihad clinched a hard-fought victory over Morocco’s FUS Rabat, edging them out 86–83. The Moroccan side features Tunisian international Omar Abada.
Al Ittihad will face the winner of the highly anticipated clash between US Monastir and Angola’s Petro de Luanda, scheduled for tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. (local time), in the semifinals.
Earlier in the day, Libya’s Al Ahli Tripoli secured their place in the semifinals with a commanding 107–81 win over Kriol Star of Cape Verde. They will go on to meet the winner of Monday’s matchup between Rivers Hoopers (Nigeria) and APR (Rwanda), set for 3:00 p.m. (local time).
