FC Barcelona secured a hard-fought victory over visiting Atlético Madrid in the 2025–2026 Spanish league season.
Barça hosted Atlético Madrid on Tuesday at the Spotify Camp Nou as part of Matchday 19 of La Liga.
Barcelona won 3–1, overturning an early deficit to claim a valuable victory.
The Catalan side conceded the opening goal in the 19th minute, scored by Atlético forward Álex Baena.
But Raphinha, Barcelona’s captain, quickly brought the hosts level just seven minutes later, sending the teams into halftime tied at 1–1, despite Robert Lewandowski missing a penalty.
In the second half, Barcelona maintained their attacking pressure and eventually took the lead in the 65th minute thanks to Dani Olmo, who struck the ball into the net before exiting the match with a shoulder injury.
In the 97th minute, Ferran Torres sealed Barcelona’s win by scoring the team’s third goal of the match.
