The Tunisian women’s basketball team’s adventure at the 14th edition of the Arab Nations Championship, which takes place in Cairo from July 1st to 8th, came to an end this Tuesday.
The Tunisian basketball players settled for second place after losing the final to Egypt 74-92 (44-46 at halftime).
This is the sixth silver medal for the Tunisians, after winning the championships in 1992, 1994, 1997, 2003, and 2017, while it is the fifth gold medal for the Egyptians, after winning the championships in the years 1992-1994, 1997-2017.
The bronze medal went to Jordan, who defeated Algeria 71-67 in the classification match.
