The regional director of civil protection in Béja, Colonel Kamel Melliti, told Tunisie Numériqu correspondent that the teams concerned intervened yesterday evening for a case of gas asphyxiation in a bathroom in Béja North.
The victim, a woman, was taken to the regional hospital in Béja, where her condition is considered stable.
It should be mentionedthat this case is the sixth incident recorded in the last 24 hours. A family of five, including a 10-day-old baby, was the victim of gas poisoning in their bathroom, located in the Maâgoula region of Béja.
