Fedia Rejab, the Head of the Department at the General Directorate of the National Guard, informed Tunisie Numérique that specialized units focused on combating violence against women and children have documented numerous reports related to domestic abuse.
“70% of the judicial reports related to this abuse in the governorate of Béja involve domestic violence, while 80% of the cases of domestic abuse in the Tunis region concern violence against children,” she revealed.
