Ben Guerdane Municipality: 390 LED streetlights installed to boost safety and save energy

As part of its ongoing efforts to streamline energy consumption and modernize the city’s infrastructure, the municipality of Ben Guerdane has begun implementing a comprehensive program to improve the quality of public lighting. The initiative includes the installation of 390 LED lighting points along major roads and in the city center.

LED technology is considered one of the most effective energy-saving solutions, while also providing higher-quality illumination—helping to enhance road safety and protect residents during nighttime travel. The municipality said the project is part of a broader set of initiatives aimed at upgrading public services and improving quality of life in Ben Guerdane.
