European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell condemned Tuesday a deadly Israeli airstrike on a refugee camp in Khan Younis, that resulted in civilian deaths as it was in a “declared safe zone.” Borrell called for “respect” for international humanitarian law, protection of civilians, and “accountability.” “We cannot normalize the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza,” he stressed.
