European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said on Monday that Europe should expect around five million Ukrainian refugees if the Russian military intervention in the country continues.
“We must prepare to receive around five million people,” Borrell stated. “We must mobilize all the resources of the EU to help those countries receiving people. We will need more schools, more reception centers – more of everything,” he added.
