Upon an invitation from his Brazilian counterpart Mr. Mauro Vieira, Mr. Nabil Ammar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, is paying an official working visit to the Federal Republic of Brazil, from 11 to 13 July 2024, accompanied by a delegation comprising representatives of the official Tunisian bodies operating in the fields of pharmaceutical industries, fertilizers sector and customs, in addition to a delegation of businessmen and business actors in various sectors led by the President of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts,reads a press release by the Foreign Ministry.
This visit will provide the opportunity to hold a working session with the Brazilian Minister of Foreign Relations, addressing the cooperation between the two countries and examining ways to further strengthen them in various fields, in addition to raising regional and international issues of common inte
yrest. During this visit, a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of diplomatic cooperation between the two ministries will be signed.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad will chair the Tunisian-Brazilian Economic Forum, which is organized by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Tunisian-Brazilian Business Council.
As part of his visit, Mr. Nabil Ammar will inaugurate the Tunisian commercial and consular office, in Sao Paulo, and will meet on this occasion with representatives of the Tunisian community living in this city.
