Britain will enter a 10-day period of national mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The period of mourning will start tomorrow (Friday) and end when her funeral is held, The Mirror reports.
On Thursday, Buckingham Palace declared the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty passed away at Balmoral. Crowds gathered at Buckingham Palace to pay their respects following the sad announcement.
The Palace said: “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
