Senegalese referee Issa Sy has been appointed to officiate the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-final between Espérance Sportive de Tunis and Egypt’s Al Ahly, scheduled for 15 March at the Olympic Stadium in Radès, with kick-off set for 22:00.
He will be assisted by his compatriots Djibril Camara and Nouha Bangoura, while the VAR will be overseen by Mauritanian official Ahmad Imtehaz Heeralall.
Meanwhile, Egyptian media reported that Al Ahly will travel to Tunis from 13 March, two days before the match.
