Carthage Theatre Days 2025: the 26th edition unveiled at the Cité de la Culture

    The press conference dedicated to the 26th edition of the Carthage Theatre Days (CTD) was held on Thursday, November 12, 2025, at the Cité de la Culture Chedly Klibi. The event marked the official launch of one of Tunisia’s most prestigious artistic gatherings, dedicated to Tunisian, Arab, and African theatrical creation.

    Organisers presented the main features of this year’s edition, which promises a rich and diverse programme.

    A festival from 22 to 29 November 2025

    According to details revealed during the conference, the 26th edition of the CTD will open on 22 November and continue until 29 November. Throughout the week, venues across the capital will host a wide range of performances, workshops, and professional meetings for artists, critics, and the public.

    This compact schedule aims to concentrate activities and enhance the visibility of productions both in and out of competition.

    Broad participation from Tunisian and international theatre troupes

    Organisers also announced the participation of numerous theatre troupes from Tunisia and several other countries. This international dimension remains one of the defining features of the CTD, which over the years has become a key platform for cultural exchange and cooperation.

    The performances will showcase the latest trends in contemporary theatre, highlighting the creativity of both local and international companies.
