Cereals: Ministry of Agriculture Extends Deadline for Rapid Delivery Bonus on Barley

The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries has announced, in an official statement, the extension of the deadline to benefit from the exceptional rapid delivery bonus for quantities of barley accepted at the grain collection centers from the 2025 harvest.

Originally set for July 5, the new deadline has been postponed to July 12, 2025, following requests made by farmers.

A Bonus Adjusted by Crop Type

Previously, the Ministry set the rapid delivery bonus rates as follows:

40 dinars per quintal for durum wheat,
30 dinars per quintal for soft wheat,
25 dinars per quintal for barley and triticale.
These subsidies aim to encourage the prompt delivery of cereals to accredited collection centers and to streamline the national grain collection process, which is vital for managing strategic reserves.

This measure comes at a time when supporting the national cereal sector is crucial, given current climatic and logistical challenges. The Ministry urges all eligible farmers to respect the new deadline in order to benefit from this exceptional financial aid.
