Chelsea have booked their place in the Club World Cup final following a 2-0 victory over Brazilian side Fluminense in the semi-final played on Tuesday evening.
The London club opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a stunning goal from new signing João Pedro, who netted his first goal for the Blues since joining from Brighton during the current summer transfer window.
After the break, João Pedro struck again, doubling the lead for the English side in the 56th minute of the match held at MetLife Stadium.
Chelsea will now face the winner of the second semi-final between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, scheduled for Wednesday, also at MetLife Stadium.
